Established in 2005, SeedCasa is a distinctive furniture design company dedicated to integrating the emotional and functional attributes of physical spaces. Our design philosophy revolves around a central idea: space—be it a room, a balcony—possesses a profound capacity to evoke emotions, shaping our moods, behaviors, and interactions.

The furniture we design aims to enhance these experiences, fostering connections between individuals and with others. For instance, a deep, plush sofa may encourage relaxation and intimate conversations, while a structured, upright chair can aid in concentration and alertness. Our goal is to create furniture that harmonizes with the spaces people design, evoking emotions that nurture significant relationships.

What sets SeedCasa apart is our deep understanding of multi-material integration. Beyond solid wood furniture, we excel in combining wood with other materials such as metal and acrylic. We have established two sub-brands, Steeltalk and Beform, focused on exploring the use of metal in furniture to better meet the demands of modern design spaces.

Hello everyone, I’m Mir, the Creative Director of SeedCasa. Until now, we’ve kept a low profile about who we are: I’ve always hoped that the studio’s work could speak for itself. However, as time has passed, the landscape has changed, and it’s clear that we can no longer afford to stay so camera-shy.

I studied at Central Saint Martins in London, and driven by my passion for interior design and furniture, I founded SeedCasa in 2015—a year that marked the explosion of original brands in China. Fortunately, we caught the wave of this era, as the younger generation in China began to demand new standards in home aesthetics.

We started with interior space soft furnishing design services and eventually decided to venture into furniture production. From a small studio, we gradually expanded: new clients, building factories, purchasing machinery, crafting our own hardware, experimenting with leather and fabrics, obtaining sustainability certifications, and more. Along the way, we faced many challenges but also gained significant growth.

SeedCasa features diverse materials, and we have a professional design and production team capable of realizing custom projects. We not only produce batch-made furniture but also provide comprehensive furniture solutions for hotel projects, chain restaurants, and private clubs.

Apart from some out-of-copyright mid-century designs, all products from SeedCasa are original designs and creatioons. Each piece, from raw timber onwards, starts and ends with us. We are FSC® Chain of Custody certified, ISO 14001 and 9001 certified for quality and environmental standards, and Social Responsibility SA8000 certified. Learn more about how we make furniture here.
